Andrea Kirwin is an Australian-Fijian Artist/Producer based in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. With a warm stage presence, retro soulful sound and a knack for storytelling, Andrea has been steadily building a national following since the release of her first album, 'From the Ground Up' in 2013. Having self produced 5 independent albums, she has continued to build a sustainable music career and has now opened up a shopfront for her record label, Peace Run Records, at 14 Queen St, Nambour.

Andrea's unique brand of island soul has continued to evolve over the past 8 years since she has been recording her original music. Having built her career as a singer-songwriter over the years by gigging up to 300+ shows a year, she has developed a range of repertoire that has permeated her own writing. Influences from the likes of Carol King, Otis Redding, Corinne Bailey Rae and Norah Jones can be heard in the tones of Andrea's latest upcoming album, BLOOM. Although the sounds and breadth of the Album is in and of itself uniquely her own. Andrea's 5th album, BLOOM is due out in May 2021 and is now available for Pre-Sale.

Since the upheaval of 2020 and the changing music industry climate with lockdowns and cancelled gigs, Andrea has started a Patreon page and is teaching music lessons on guitar, singing, keys, ukulele, cigar box guitar and songwriting from her Queen st HQ. She has also been offering one on one music industry mentoring to help other aspiring singer-songwriters to create sustainable pathways in the music industry. Having been writing and performing at Festivals for the past 15 years, Andrea has much to offer the next generation from an independent artist's perspective. Her Patreon page has been a huge support for Andrea in creating content for her new album, and her subscribers have been invited to take part in the recording and music video process and have regular gatherings at her shop in Nambour. Andrea's Patreon community have been integral to the creation of her new album, BLOOM.

Andrea's big band ensemble for her 5th album 'BLOOM', is made up of artists and musicians that Andrea has been performing with over the past 5 years. Their common link is that each of the musicians have worked at the Yamanui Recording Studio owned by her good friend and Bass player OJ Newcomb(John Butler Trio, Band of Frequencies, Thump) and Angela Iimura. The name 'the Yama-Nui Social Club' is inspired by the Buena Vista social club. A collection of friends that play beautiful music together over many years. What could be better than that!

Andrea is currently teaching music from her Peace Run Records shopfront in Nambour, but prior to that she was performing up to 300+ shows a year around Australia and NZ. Andrea still performs local shows around Noosa and the Sunshine Coast, which are in high demand, and she often performs regular house concerts for tourists who travel to the Sunshine Coast on family holidays.

Andrea has also been hosting boutique livestream events as well at Peace Run Records and Agency and in the past 6 months has held a 9 hr livestream launch featuring 20 artists, a Blues Night and a Survival Day First nations concert which was co-hosted by Deline Briscoe of Gaba Musik. Andrea hopes to host more livestream shows in the coming months.

Festivals have always been amongst some of Andrea's favourite music memories having been introduced to the Australian Festival scene early on with her first band, The Andi and George Band, who toured the East coast of Australia Festival hopping in 2008. Below is a list of Festivals Andrea has performed at over the years and she looks forward to travelling to more Festivals in Australia and overseas once the pandemic begins to subside.
